The Compleat Food Group

The Compleat Food Group (TCFG) was formed in 2021 following the acquisition by European private equity firm PAI Partners of Addo Food Group, the UK’s leading chilled savoury pastry producer and Winterbotham Darby, the innovative supplier of olives and antipasti, continental meats and manufacturer of plant-based foods. Joined by the Wrights Food Group in December 2021, it added new categories of sweet pastry and frozen ready meals for foodservice, bakery and retail, alongside 15 branded bakery stores across the North West. With an annual turnover of £590m, TCFG employs more than 3,500 people across 12 UK sites. It produces own-label products and leading brands, including Pork Farms, Wall’s Pastry, Squeaky Bean, unearthed and Vadasz. Supplying products to most of the UK’s largest food retailers and a comprehensive portfolio of foodservice companies, TCFG has the ambition to become the UK’s leading chilled food organisation.
