The Texas Rocket Engineering Lab is a premier, interdisciplinary research laboratory focused on incubating the next generation of rocketeers and innovators in preparation for a new age of space exploration. Our Mission Texas Rocket Engineering Lab creates capable professionals to meet the needs of new space, commercial launch and NASA by constructing an environment of inclusion, diversity, open knowledge-sharing and active community engagement. TREL promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and works to complete long-term, tangible projects while “demystifying” the intricacies of applied rocket science in order to better serve its peers and successors. Our Vision To become the gold standard of professional collegiate rocketry, knowledge-sharing, and diverse inclusion amongst its peers and industry stakeholders, and to function as a leader in new space innovation, incubating the next generation of aerospace pioneers.
