Suiker Unie

Suiker Unie is the largest producer of granulated sugar in the Netherlands and specialised in developing sugar-based products. Our main market is the Netherlands. On the consumer market our products are sold under the well-known Van Gilse brand. Our products are also distributed worldwide by Limako Suiker BV, a joint venture in which Suiker Unie is a majority shareholder. Suiker Unie is part of Royal Cosun, an international group developing, producing and selling natural food products and ingredients. Other members of the Cosun group include Sensus, Unifine Food & Bake Ingredients, SVZ, Aviko and Royal Nedalco. Operating in Europe and North America, Cosun has approximately 11,500 cooperative members who are also shareholders.
