SDPB is a vital community resource producing and broadcasting high-quality, commercial-free programs and valuable community outreach projects that educate, enlighten and entertain. SDPB Television airs on KUSD Channel 2, Vermillion; KESD Channel 8, Brookings; KZSD Channel 8, Martin-Long Valley; KBHE Channel 9, Rapid City; KTSD Channel 10, Pierre; KQSD Channel 11, Lowry; KPSD Channel 13, Faith-Eagle Butte; KDSD Channel 16, Aberdeen; and KCSD Channel 23, Sioux Falls. SDPB broadcasts more than 150 hours of local programming each year and over 65 hours of educational children's programming every week. SDPB Radio can be found at KDSD 90.9 FM, Aberdeen; 88.3 FM, KESD Brookings; KPSD 97.1 FM, Faith-Eagle Butte; KQSD 91.9 FM, Lowry; KZSD 102.5 FM, Martin-Long Valley; KTSD 91.1 FM, Pierre; KBHE 89.3 FM, Rapid City; KCSD 90.9 FM, Sioux Falls; KUSD 89.7 FM, Vermillion; KYSD 91.9FM, Spearfish and KJSD 90.3FM, Watertown. SDPB Radio broadcasts 24 hours a day, with 40 hours a week of local programming. Online content can be accessed at SDPB.org. Besides archiving locally produced SDPB Television and Radio programs, SDPB.org also offers full coverage of the South Dakota State Legislature and all South Dakota High School Activities Association sanctioned tournaments. It also houses many of SDPB Education & Outreach's educational resources. Millions of users log on to SDPB.org and SDPB's social media accounts every year. SDPB’s education & outreach efforts enhance and expand the learning experiences available every day on Television, Radio and Online. Our Education Specialist provides classroom resources for teachers, workshops for educational institutions, information for home-schoolers, parents and child-care providers, continuing education courses for college students and adults, and local educational television programs, as well as conducting other outreach projects for all of the citizens of South Dakota.
