Community Fire Company No. 1 of North Whitehall Township, Schnecksville, PA. was established in 1924 and is one of the oldest departments in the area. Covering approximately twelve square miles, our primary service area consists of portions of North Whitehall, Lowhill and Heidelberg Townships in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. In addition to the hundreds of new homes being built every year, the Fire Company also protects the shared campus of the Lehigh Career and Technical Institute and the Lehigh Carbon Community College, KidsPeace campus, two elementary schools, numerous commercial occupancies and nearly 1,500 acres of the Trexler Nature Preserve and the Lehigh Valley Zoo.
