Safespill Systems, LLC offers the only environmentally friendly, chemical-free containment and removal system for flammable liquid spills in industrial applications. Our mission is to transition the world to clean fire protection. Safespill's technology allows liquids to be safely removed and pumped right back into containment. The system, a hollow aluminum floor with integrated liquid detection sensors, contains the spill beneath its surface and automatically pumps the liquid into designated containment. The floor is able to hold the weight of any kind of industrial equipment, such as tank trucks, forklifts, and aircrafts. Current applications include a Safespill floor for aircraft hangars as an alternative to AFFF systems and storage units for up to 160 IBCs for combustible liquids in NFPA Class III. In addition to preventing catastrophic fires, our system allows for an increase in workers’ safety and a decrease in operational downtime. Safespill’s team of experts work closely with facility management, hangar operators, fire chiefs, civil engineers insurance carriers, and AHJs to provide an option that makes an immediate impact on safety and efficiency, creating peace of mind for all parties involved.
