RTL Hrvatska

RTL Hrvatska is a part of international RTL Group - leading European entertainment network, with interests in 52 television channels and 29 radio stations and content production throughout the world. RTL Hrvatska launched RTL Televizija in 2004. making in the second Croatian private commercial television. Thanks to its attractive programming scheme RTL Televizija soon became the leading broadcaster on the market. In 2011 RTL Hrvatska decided to pursue a multi channel strategy by creating RTL 2, a specialized entertainment channel on a national level. The company acknowledged the importance of new media such as IPTV and internet in general with the launch of specialized cable channels such as RTL Crime, Passion and Living and RTL Kockica - children TV. The multi channel strategy has put RTL Hrvatska as the trend leader of the media landscape. Due to importance of its news segment, RTL Hrvatska embraced the internet as the new media platform, launched a news portal vijesti.hr with the goal of expanding its presence in the news sector. The launch of the portal was accompanied by a full fledged social media campaign.
