Rolland G. Huston started a landscaping firm in the late 1950's. Rolland's sons, Dale and Dwight, took over the small construction/landscape business in 1973 and incorporated it in 1975 into what we are called today, R.G. Huston Company, Inc. Dale and Dwight greatly expanded the company's size in the 1990's to include heavy earthwork and underground utilities. In the summer of 2001, Dale passed on his title of President to his son Brad, while Dwight passed on his title of Secretary/Treasurer to his oldest son Wade. Under the current leadership and watchful eyes of two generations of the Huston families, R.G. Huston continues to provide high-quality, professional construction service to its many public and private clients. R.G. Huston is a union contractor that constructs projects that include: Sewer and Water Main Construction Grading & Excavation DOT & Municipal Commercial Residential Aggregate Production Quarries Recycling On-site Crushing R.G. Huston's office is located east of Madison on the south side of Cottage Grove, along Highway N. The office building is a striking wood and post beam structure built in 1994 and modeled after an old stock pavilion.The building lays the foundation for first time visitors to our company to visually see the dedication and attention to quality and detail that Huston Company takes so much pride in.
