The Province of Genoa is autonomous local authority in the context of the principles established by the Constitution, the laws of the Republic, by the provisions of this Statute and the European Charter of Autonomy. The Province of Genoa takes care of the interests of its community, promotes and coordinates the development of the territory. The affirmation, promotion and development of the rights of citizens directs our activities as much as the organization of our institution.
