Pierre Monteux School & Music Festival

Each summer since 1943, The Monteux School & Music Festival has provided summer training and practical experience to enable conductors to competently handle any conducting situation, to help instrumentalists meet the many demands of orchestral playing. Our program offers an unrivaled opportunity to learn a large and varied repertoire over the course of its six-week program.
