Pacific Opera Victoria

Pacific Opera Victoria is a Canadian Opera company that produces four to five original opera productions each season – three on our main stage at the Royal Theatre, with the Victoria Symphony; the others in a variety of smaller venues, which allow us to forge collaborations with other arts organizations and offer new entry points for families and audiences. Founded in 1979 and incorporated in 1980, POV has earned a reputation as one of Canada's most exciting arts institutions, thanks to its dynamic repertoire choices, its original productions, and its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for artists and audiences.
