At Onwentsia Club, we proudly celebrate our rich 125-year history as one of the nation's oldest and most esteemed country clubs. Our prestigious grounds have hosted renowned golf tournaments like the U.S. Men’s Open and Women’s Amateur. Members enjoy a wide range of meticulously curated activities year-round, from a dynamic summer tennis program, engaging croquet matches, to the thriving winter sports scene with our state-of-the-art squash and paddle courts. Maintaining the highest standards is paramount to us. Our historic Clubhouse, designed by esteemed architect Harrie T. Lindeberg in 1928, has undergone extensive upgrades while preserving its timeless charm. It serves as the centerpiece of our exceptional entertaining space, accommodating private parties of up to 240 guests. Multiple dining outlets, including the legendary Wigwam, Pool Terrace, and West Terrace, offer exquisite culinary experiences. We have exciting upcoming projects planned, including upgrades, remodeling, and renovations to the Racquets House, Clubhouse, and Golf Pro Shop, starting in July 2023. These milestones mark our commitment to continuously enhancing our facilities for member satisfaction. The annual Independence Day Celebration is a highlight, featuring games, entertainment for children, a delightful outdoor barbeque dinner, live music, and a captivating fireworks display.
