Novion Property Group was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in April 1994 under the name Gandel Retail Trust. Ever since then we’ve been driven by a passion to improve Australian retail property. On 3 February 2015, Novion announced that it had entered into a Merger Implementation Agreement with Federation Centres (Federation) to merge both groups, subject to certain conditions, On 27 May 2015, Novion Securityholders overwhelmingly approved the proposal. The final approval for the Merger was received on 29 May 2015 from the NSW Supreme Court. The Merger was implemented on 11 June 2015.
