NSW Rural Doctors Network

NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) provides support for a continuing and high quality rural medical workforce in NSW. RDN develops and administers a number of programs to improve the recruitment and retention of General Practitioners (GPs), nurses and allied health professionals in rural and remote NSW, as well as providing a central information resource for rural medical support initiatives in NSW, Australia. RDN is a not for profit, non government organisation with more than 1,000 members, more than 800 of those are doctor (primary) members. Activities are financially supported by both the NSW state government and Australian federal government. RDN works with the Rural Doctors Association (NSW) - an industrial and medical political body - and the Medicare Locals in regionalised areas of NSW to support general practice.
