Description
Information
Welcome to the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine in Münster We are an international team of scientists dedicated to exploring some of the most exciting and challenging questions of life. Our topics range from stem cell research and the investigation of mechanisms that control the formation of blood vessels to research on inflammation processes. We cooperate with scientists all over the world – including the University of Münster, Harvard Medical School, the University of Pennsylvania and the London Research Institute. We offer young scientists an excellent foundation for a successful career in science – for instance as PhD students at the international graduate school IMPRS. At our institute, science does not take place in an ivory tower. We help to make research understandable and transparent for a broad public with guided tours, lectures, press releases and projects such as the stem cell portal Zellux.
