Swissquote Bank Ltd. and MIG Bank have completed their merger, uniting Switzerland's largest online bank with Switzerland's dominant bank specialized in online Forex brokerage services. The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) has approved the merger which took effect on December 9th, 2013. The combined entity will be known as Swissquote Bank Ltd. The merger follows Swissquote's acquisition of MIG Bank on September 25th, 2013. The consolidation of the two banks is based on our mutual commitment to delivering the best in online trading.
