The Loong Lions are a professional basketball team based in Guangzhou-Foshan metropolitan. The Loong Lions compete in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) as a member of the league. The Loong Lions play their home games at Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Center and Foshan International Recreational & Cultrual Center. The Loong Lions became the first team listed on stock market, National Equities Exchange and Quotations. Loong Lions also has the owership of Foshan International Recreational & Cultural Center and operation rights of Arena in Tianhe Sports Center. They are exploring and developing the way of professionalizing and commercializing sports teams in China.
