The Legacy Story Two patriarchs (Pete Kirtses & Tom Amrein), independently built strong, service-oriented distribution centers. As each looked to expand their brand, they realized it was necessary to unite the families in order to become more relevant in the marketplace. Now, along with Tom's son (Justin), Pete's son (Evan) & daughter (Eugenia), the traditions built in the past are solidifying the future. The name Legacy is the constant reminder of the strong foundation that these two men built and the character for which they have operated. The mindset of: "small enough to know you, large enough to service you" will not be lost. The personal touch, the open communication and the transparency in doing business will always be the backbone of Legacy Foods. Truly, two families one goal!
