Leading Age New York's more than 600 members employ 150,000 professionals serving more than 500,000 New Yorkers annually. LeadingAge NY's Foundation for Long Term Care is a private, not-for-profit research and education organization founded in 1978. In keeping with its mission to improve by research and education the way care for an aging society is delivered, it has a reputation for outstanding research and demonstration projects and for innovative seminars aimed at keeping health care professionals informed of constant changes in the field.
