LLW Repository Ltd is responsible for the UK's primary facility for the disposal of low level radioactive waste (LLW). We provide a range of services to waste producers, including characterisation, packaging, transport, treatment/recycling and disposal. We also manage the the UK National LLW Programme on behalf of the Nuclear Decomissioning Authority. Our team provide a wide variety of waste management options (including; waste characterisation, recycling, treatment and disposal) plus a range of transport and logistics solutions to our customers across the UK. We're here to deliver safe, secure and cost effective services to deal with radioactive waste arising from all sectors where radioactive materials are used, including; nuclear power, research/education, defence, medical and manufacturing. LLWR became a subsidiary of the NDA in July 2021.
