LIFEMED

Lifemed is a company the corporate capital of which is 100% national, with more than 30 years of activity in the area of production of equipment and consumption material destined to the medical-hospital sector, and has been present in more than 1,500 of the largest public and private Brazilian hospitals. The company, that has three modern production unit in the State of Rio Grande do Sul and a solid business head office in São Paulo, has been distinguished by the investment and expressive growth in R&D and by the consolidation of important strategic alliances, having as scope the competitive international market. Its development has been always marked by creative and innovation initiatives that resulted in the purchase of companies, the earning of several certifications and of several awards of the hospital and industrial sectors. Such a continuous growth motivated the expansion of the industrial area, with the construction of the Lifemed manufacturing plant located in Pelotas (RS), today with a 20,000 m2 area, destined to the production of infusion pumps and syringes, infusion equipment, endoscope reprocessors, surgical aprons and cloths and disposable packaging. The new project contemplates also an area destined to high complexity the biotechnological production , such as vaccines against cancer, monoclonal antibodies and diagnosis kits, among others.
