Who we are: Established in 1995, Jordan River Foundation (JRF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO), chaired by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah. Driven by values of social justice, impactful interventions to alleviate poverty, and empowering the community with a focus on women and youth, JRF implements various programs to achieve its mission of transforming Jordanian communities. JRF has been a major player in Jordanian community development, bringing forth over 20 years of experience to local community development, and supporting homegrown solutions that engage communities and address local challenges, but most importantly placing the wellbeing of children center-stage.
