Joist was created by Brendon Sedo, Justin Kathan, and Michael Gauthier. After scaling a mobile automobile service company across Central and Eastern Canada using a mobile based iPad app. Justin and Brendon decided to empower contractors all across the world to work in the field using their mobile devices, and created Joist. A new platform built specifically for trades contractors. At Joist, we have a simple mission: make contractors heroes. Joist provides a mobile and web application for small business contractors to estimate, invoice, record and process payments, and manage projects from anywhere. From humble beginnings, we're now helping over 900k contractors across North America, the UK and Australia! Making us the largest trades platform in the world.
