Inner-City Arts

Inner-City Arts provides visual and performing arts experiences during the school day, after-school and weekends for inner-city youth, grades K-12. Our professional development program provides training for classroom teachers and teaching artists to bring these experiences to the classroom environment in a way that supports individuals in discovering their creative voice. Our goal is to contribute to the empowerment and academic & social success of students and to the building of an educational system that supports creative exploration and expression for students AND teachers.
