Indian Society Of Agribusiness Professionals

Indian Society of Agribusiness Professionals (ISAP) is a non-government, non-profit organisation, incorporated in 2001 with the aim to work for livelihood enhancement of rural communities. In its formative years, ISAP's focus was on farmers' technical training through on-field and ICT-based interventions for agriculture development. Based on extensive learning on the field, over the years, its work has evolved to include integrated farming, farmer aggregation and market linkages into a comprehensive sustainable rural livelihoods approach. Key achievements of ISAP: -Reached 1500 Villages, 49 blocks, 27 districts in 15 States -Touched and transformed the lives of 5 lakh Indian farming families -Provided Entrepreneurship Development training to 3396 agri-graduates and incubated 1059 successful ventures -Trained 6611 BPL rural youth on vocational skills and helped them gain meaningful livelihoods.. -Certified 467 agri-graduates under India Crop Certified Adviser Program -Satisfactorily answered more than 5 lakh farmer queries through our Kisan Call Centres (KCC) in Bhopal (MP) and Gulbarga (Ktka) -Successfully running Community Radio Station "Kissan Vani Sironj" in District vidisha (M.P) -Created more than 100 farmer producer companies owned by @100,000 farmers across India -ISAP group & page on Facebook and linkedin cater to more than 150,000 professionals on a daily basis with thousands of posts every month & answers to huge number of queries & interactions generated through these platforms. Indian Agriculture Professionals (IAP) is a part of the ISAP network. IAP is an online platform aimed at enhancing information exchange amongst the Indian Agriculture professionals (https://www.facebook.com/groups/agribiz4u/). IAP has crossed 87,000 professional members on the online group. The ISAP page at https://www.facebook.com/isapindia.org has more than 98,000 likes on the page & more than 500,000 likes across posts on the page & the group since inception.
