India’s amazing growth in the last 20 years has been predominantly on the back of the success of the IT industry in the large cities of India, driven by youth from all over India migrating to these IT hubs. With the growth of excellent infrastructure and colleges in small-town India, the much better path for future growth goes through the small-towns! Just the logical next step for off-shoring to large Indian cities. Interestingly, the non-urban India is also the fastest growing market segment today. This is the big opportunity we are targeting with our small-town model. The cost benefits to client of services / products delivered from small-towns are obvious. Some even become feasible only with this model. The positive social impact of people living close to their hometowns is also obvious. But the real success of the small-town model is in delivering better quality and reliability than that delivered today from big cities. We think this is due to the strong aspirations and desire of the non-urban India. These services and products will be delivered by our select practices and start-ups located at our small-town centers, with an optimal presence in larger cities, where our customers may be.
