ITCO-International Timber Company- is an entity involved in the wholesale and retail of wood and wood products used in both the construction and furniture industries. ITCO is a sister company to Unitco, a vertically integrated timber concern involved through its subsidiaries in activities ranging from forest harvesting to delivering finished products to its end customers. ITCO was created in the late 70s in Saudi Arabia. Since its early days, the business, which is now in its third generation, has developed strong relationships in Romania, Scandinavia, Russia, the Far East and North America. With presence across Lebanon, across Saudi Arabia, in Sudan, as well as representations in the UAE, Kuwait, Yemen, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Jordan, Iraq and Libya, ITCO is a main region player and has been a reliable and consistent partner for clients in all its markets, allowing each of the companies in the group to be among the top 5 in its industry in all its locations. In Lebanon, among its strategic partnerships, ITCO exclusively distributes the goods of Romanel, second largest producer of whitewood and largest producer of beech wood in Romania. The group also markets its Romanel products across the countries of North Africa, the Levant and the Gulf region. It has also recently started expanding its activity to the Far East.
