Founded in London in 2015 by entrepreneur Harneet Baweja, Gunpowder Restaurant Group owns and operates critically acclaimed restaurants and bars in London and Lisboa. It has assembled a unique team of smart and talented professionals who share a love for hospitality and service. The Gunpowder Restaurant Group is comprised of it flagship brand GUNPOWDER which is present in both London and Lisboa. The restaurant champions regional Indian cooking using local and sustainable produce. Started in 2015 it helped shape the 'small plate' movement for modern Indian restaurants achieving and maintaining its Michelin Bib Gourmand award. It further spawned Madame D, a Tibetan and Nepalese dive bar that also achieved a Michelin BiB Gourmand. We are currently awaiting the launch of its Disco themed restaurant EMPIRE EMPIRE in Notting Hill, London.
