The founders of Gourmet launched the business in 2006, having identified the growing demand for a food retailer offering knowledgeable service and a careful selection of the planet’s best quality ingredients sought out by those passionate about eating good food and aspiring to a gourmet lifestyle. We currently serve our customers from three Cairo stores together with a seasonal store on the North Coast together with home delivery to our online and telephone customers. Gourmet is on a growth path with 2 new stores opening in 2014 and more in 2015. We love growth, dynamism and innovation. Our product development team have designed and launched many of our most successful product ranges. Brands including Poseidon, La Cucina De Vita, and The Greater Goods were all conceived at Gourmet. Gourmet has developed close relationships with many of the world’s leading food suppliers. Together we develop exciting, nutritious and safe products for our customers. Beyond food ingredients, Gourmet is also the official Weber BBQ distributor for Egypt. Weber is the World’s best BBQ manufacturer, producing a wide range gas & charcoal barbeques as well as a wide range of innovative accessories. We are also active in the area of culinary education for our customers and staff. We offer exciting cooking classes and regular in-store demonstrations.
