Gesex was started in 1998 as an initiattive by a group of fruit growers and exporters who percieved that delivering high quality Chilean fruit to the world's most demanding markets, was only the first step. They realized that it became imperative to provide a service that included customer satisfaction and consequently having them repeat the purchase at a retail level. This service starts at the field level in Chile and continues throughout the entire process until the final product, properly packed according to what the market disctates, is finally displayed at the point of sale.
