Beginning in 2020 we're opening up venues around the country in the ultimate celebration of gaming culture. From hardcore esports fanatics to casual gamers, from PC players to console to table top - we're building welcoming homes away from home for all gamers. Our venues will have the best tech, the latest games, quality food and beverage options, daily events and spaces to host communities. Our first gaming and esports venue is coming to Melbourne early 2020 and will be spread across two gigantic floors in the middle of the CBD at the Emporium. A cultural centre that speaks to your passions, bringing in diverse groups from the entire spectrum of the gaming community. A calendar rich with daily events, prizes and live tournaments. Fortress Melbourne will have a purpose-built esports arena, 160 top of the range esports-ready gaming PCs, a dedicated LAN lounge and a high performance esports bootcamp room. 10+ screens across both floors broadcasting live tournaments and international playoffs year round. Everything primed for the ultimate esports experience! Don't follow esports? Fear not! The huge basement hosts a gamer friendly tavern, casual console gaming suites, fireside hearth and designated RPG area. We’ve also partnered with your favourite publishers to throw regular community events where you can hang out with people who love games as much as you. With bars on both levels and a full restaurant offering table service as you play…...you will never go hungry or thirsty. Fortress will also feature a full content production studio and casting facilities for esports competition broadcasting.
