Fortrend Engineering Corporation (USA) was established in 1979. Fortrend Engineering Corporation (Hsin Chu) merged with Fortrend Engineering USA on May 1, 2008. Fortrend also has a manufacturing facility in Shen Yang, China. Fortrend continues to develop its innovative automation technology for extensive use in the semiconductor industry. Fortrend is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of automated SMIF handling equipment and its SCARA robots. In recent years, Fortrend has concentrated on the reticle domain and is currently an industry leader in this area offering a variety of reticle box openers, sorters, storage units and transfer systems. Our products are used worldwide by industry leaders such as Intel, Applied Materials, NEC and many other large semiconductor companies. Cooperation with Thermco to develope automation for Furnace and be an exclusive agent in Taiwan.
