Worship Services Children of all ages are welcome to attend all services. Childcare is available during all Sunday services for children from birth through age five in the Asbury Building beginning at 7:45am. Contemporary Service Matthias Family Life Center Gym 9:30am Experience an informal, family-friendly relaxed setting in our multi-purpose worship center. A large screen displays worship images and song lyrics to assist you in participating in worship. A band with guitars, keyboards, drums and gifted vocalists express our faith through contemporary music which echos the sermon message. Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of every month. Traditional Service Sanctuary 8:00 & 11:00am Altar flowers, beautiful stained glass windows and pastors wearing robes and liturgical colors continue the traditional worship style which features liturgy, hymns, ancient creeds and prayer. First UMC Winter Park Music Ministry brings outstanding music to express our worship creatively through ensembles, choirs, soloists and instrumentalists. Holy Communion is served in each service the first Sunday of every month. Monday Worship Service Led by Jon Tschanz, Director of Young Adults, each week at 6:30pm, in room 313 of the Matthais Family Life Center marries with an informal, friendly and modern worshipping community. Marcy Chapel Marcy Chapel is open for prayer and worship 7am to 9pm daily, and is used for smaller funerals and weddings. This chapel is a legacy back to the original church building from over 100 years ago, and has rich wood and stained glass windows which welcome visitors with an overwhelming sense of God’s love for us. Lakefront Chapel Situated in beautiful Winter Park, Florida, it only seems natural that the church has an outdoor, lakefront chapel. Special services, weddings and our Easter sunrise service are held surrounded by God’s creation in nature.
