Doland Jewelers

Doland Jewelers was formed over 25 years ago in 1986, when owner Mike Doland decided to follow his dream. Having always been fascinated by jewelry design, he opened his first store in Bellevue, Iowa. As the years passed and Doland Jewelers’ reputation spread, Mike would open stores in Maquoketa, Dubuque, and Davenport, Iowa. After much discussion about how to best grow and expand Doland Jewelers, the Maquoketa store closed and the Bellevue store moved to the current Dubuque location in 2000. By 2002 the Davenport location was purchased. The business now operates solely from these two locations. What started as one man’s dream and passion has now grown into a company that staffs 20 employees, including five designers and two watchmakers. The second generation of Dolands has now entered the family business as sons Will, Nick, Lucas, and daughter-in-law Crystal are actively involved in the company.
