Since inception in 1998, Dawood Engineering consultancy (DEC) operates with a mission to provide impeccable quality consultation services and turnkey solutions to local and regional clients. DEC specializes in Geomatics, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Surveying, Energy and Utilities Engineering as well as Civil and Architecture engineering. As a result of growth and development, the company expanded with branches across the Sultanate and built a substantial list of clients in the private and the public sectors. Among the major clients served within the Sultanate is Petroleum development Oman (PDO), Occidental, British petroleum, OLNG and Daleel Petroleum. DEC also serves various known entities in the electricity sector including OETC, MEDC, MZEC and MJEC with projects covering Electrical Substation Design, consultancy supervision and electrical route surveys for 400KV transmission lines down to LT distribution networks and Electrical GIS projects. We also associated with many clients in developing Geodatabases, included are the major electricity entities, Tanweer, PDO, Occidental, Daleel Petroleum and British Petroleum Oman. DEC maintains a competitive edge by adopting new and emerging technologies, where we strive to provide efficient and cost-effective solutions. For instance, we’ve been using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in our survey services since 2012 as the first in the Sultanate. Providing aerial data collection, photogrammetry, inspection and security services for various industries. DEC has proven expertise in related survey services such Topographic Survey, Global Positioning Survey, Hydrographical Survey, Detail Survey and Construction Survey for Oil & Gas, Civil, Transportation, Mining and the Energy industries. Lastly, when it comes to Civil and Architectural Engineering DEC is knowledgeable and experienced in architectural, civil and planning projects such as various types of buildings and complexes, subdivision and master plans.
