Project Mehamemet was founded in 2014 with the goal of increasing participation of girls in STEM fields. As part of this project, we conduct an android-app development workshops using Appinventor, where no preliminary knowledge is required. Our target audience is high-school girls, just before they choose their major. We aim to encourage and promote girls who wish to study CS, and to help them develop a belief in their capabilities and an interest in the field. with the belief that a positive experience in STEM could be a prominent factor in a future career choice. In the last two years, we've delivered over 100 workshops to nearly 2700 high school girls in schools all over Israel. We are always looking for women volunteers with experience in CS that will help us to spread the word.
