Crown’s enterprise software for dispatching, shipment tracking, rating, billing and accounts receivables is being utilized by over 300 trucking operations. Our technologies have significant impact in the air freight community by leveraging shipment status data via EDI (electronic data information) between freight forwarders and their trucking agents utilizing Crown. Real-time status and POD (proof of delivery) updates greatly reduce phone calls and manual emails between parties while sharing more timely and accurate information. The EDI processes are further enhanced through Crown’s 2-way driver mobile data communications, Google mapping and electronic imaging of documents. Our recently introduced Crown Mobile offers the ability to capture signatures, automatically communicate with dispatch and send images of OS&D (over, short and damaged) freight. Founded in 1997, the software is developed and supported by our industry knowledgeable organization in Buffalo, New York. Crown’s core product, Crown Freight Manager (CFM), continues to evolve as a leading software application in the trucking industry. CFM is continually updated and enhanced to coincide with the evolving changes of the freight industry. With the opening of the Atlanta, Georgia office in 2003, Crown now employs more than 10 people in the marketing, sales, development and technical support departments.
