Chrysalis Behavioral Health Services and Training Center is a private practice in Fargo, ND. The practice provides outpatient services including evaluation/assessment, individual therapy, play therapy, family therapy and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with emotional and behavioral disorders. The mission of Chrysalis Behavioral Health Services and Training Center is to provide an environment where the therapeutic relationship is foundational to facilitate healing with effective interventions. Providers offer the highest standard of care. Evidence-based practices that are offered include Theraplay, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapies, Eye Movement Desenitization and Reprocessing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Chrysalis offers a holistic healing environment for patients as we aspire to be the leader in trauma treatment in North Dakota. The unique setting was developed based on what literature and research report as the crucial factors in decreasing symptoms, improving emotional/behavioral health and healing from trauma. Our goal is healing the whole person and creating stronger and healthier families. Chrysalis has five play therapy rooms, two sandtray rooms, and 2 Theraplay rooms as well as outdoor play therapy space, making it the largest play therapy practice in the FM area. There is a sensory wall and sensory room. Clinicians have access to a multi-purpose room which is used for trauma-informed yoga, drumming circles, group therapy and workshops. There are three enclosed Healing Gardens including one for adults only and a “Connections Kitchen," a full kitchen which can be utilized for individual, group or family therapies. These unique healing spaces allow for a deeper and more profound change for the patient/client.
