The original CHAR CRUST® product was developed by Nathan Silver at his legendary Al Farber's Steakhouse in Chicago in 1957.
Today Char Crust is still a family-owned business, and our facility is GFSI certified (by the BRC) and kosher certified (by the cRc). We can be found at retail and in restaurants nationwide and in Canada.
