Carter Brothers was founded in 2000 by 2013 NFL Hall of Fame Inductee, Chairman, Cris Carter and his brother, John F. Carter, CEO. In 2012, Carter Brothers, LLC, an industry leader in Fire, Life Safety, Security, and Project Management announced the sale of its Fire & Life Safety Division and began operating under the new trade name Carter Brothers Security Services, LLC, effective January 2013. As one of the largest privately held, family-owned, security and electrical services firms in the industry, Carter Brothers comprises two operating companies: Carter Brothers Security Services and D&N Electric. These two often work jointly as one company to provide integrated expertise as a leading provider of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management systems, and electrical services, with an expertise in project management.
