Capstone Connect

Engineering students have to complete a design project, called a “capstone” project, during their senior year. These students -- and their professors -- often have a difficult time coming up with appropriate projects. Capstone Connect is an online portal where industry professionals can submit project ideas to engineering professors for possible adoption by a student capstone team. The benefit to companies who submit is that they get to work with and observe a group of senior engineering students tackle a challenging engineering project. Companies who have submitted in the past have found this to be a power and cost effective (free) way to find and hire quality entry level engineers.
