The inspiration for Bistro came from helping my parents with marketing their restaurant in Colorado. The restaurant had a small and loyal following, but was failing to reach new customers online. After working on a number of small and custom projects for them, I realized that these same issues were faced by many restaurant owners all over the country. Bistro has truly been built to help restaurant owners take control of their online presence and connect with new and loyal customers.
The basic product of Bistro is to discover every review, blog, article and photo about a restaurant and bring it together in one simple stream. When dealing with reviews, a restaurant owner can reply to the review, save it for later, or share it with their social networks.
Because learning about the conversation is only the first step, Bistro also advises restaurant owners with best practices when replying to positive or negative reviews online. Tips are meant to make the task of replying to a negative review as seamless as possible to either win over the customer and at least mitigate any future harm to the business.
