Base FX

Base FX is the leading visual effect and animation studio in Asia. Anchored by its Strategic Alliance with Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), Base has more than fifty Hollywood theatrical film credits, including Monster Hunt 2, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Captain America Winter Soldier, Pacific Rim, Star Trek into Darkness, Looper, Identity Thief, Mission Impossible 4, and Super 8. Base has also provided visual effects for the TV series/mini-series The Pacific, Board¬ walk Empire, Black Sails, True Detective, The Last Ship and Agent Carter. Base received three Emmys for its work on The Pacific, Boardwalk Empire, and Black Sails. In 2015 and 2016, Base was nominated Academy Awards Best Visual Effects for Captain America: Winter Soldier and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. As of now, Base opened three divisions in WuXi, XiaMen,DaChang and Kuala Lumpur with totally more than 550 artists from all over the word. In the last decade, Base has finished more than 200 projects with 10,000 plus visual effects shots.
