Allegro is an independently owned Australian fund manager investing primarily in mid-market businesses within Australia and New Zealand. Allegro has managed more than $1.1 billion of enterprise value in 11 turnaround, distressed and special situation investments since 2008. Allegro are specialists in "Transformational Capital"​. Applying capital, expertise and a distinctly hands-on approach to investing in businesses requiring transformation. We invest equity funds on behalf of our investors, and work in partnership with management to realise growth potential and deliver enduring value to shareholders. We target companies with enterprise value of between $10m and $100m. Allegro manages 2 funds on behalf of our investors: - Allegro Fund I - appointed manager in 2008 by investors in ABN AMRO Capital Australia Fund II, closed for new acquisitions - Allegro Fund II - fund raised in October 2014, and currently in the investing phase
