The company was created as a result of the creative and artistic talent of Aldo Coppola, whose aesthetic sense and love of beauty have made him a star on the fashion scene since 1968. Aldo Coppola opened his first salon in 1965 on Via Manzoni in downtown Milan and soon began working at top photo shoots for major Italian and international fashion and style magazines. He also created avant-garde hairstyles for the runway shows of leading designers. This marked the beginning of the company that evolved and grew, also thanks to his intuition and further development of the business and brand by his son, Aldo Coppola Jr., in 1986. The company opened a freelance hair stylist and makeup artist agency and then launched a franchising system, created the Aldo Coppola Academy project, and began distributing Aldo Coppola brand products and accessories Today the company is organized in divisions revolving around its various brands. There are currently 14 Aldo Coppola direct salons in Milan, Rome, Florence, Forte dei Marmi, Porto Cervo, Monte Carlo, London and 48 Aldo Coppola franchised salons and 70 Go Coppola franchised salons in Italy. The brand is also developed abroad in Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Emirates, UK, Qatar. The entire artistic heritage developed by the company over the years is at the basis of the courses taught on every level in the Academy and certified by diplomas attesting the acquired skills. The Academy is in Milan and Moscow. Go Coppola is another brand of the company created for a customer target of men and women that differs from the target for the Aldo Coppola brand. This dynamic, trendy, young concept nonetheless ensures the quality of the Coppola brand. The company has developed two different line of products: Aldo Coppola and Shatush.
