ADES

ADES produces solar and energy saving stoves in Madagascar and promotes the use of renewable energy. The stoves are manufactured entirely in Madagascar and sold at an affordable, subsidized price. In addition, the aid organization invests in education and runs reforestation projects. The use of climate-friendly solar stoves and energy-saving stoves saves large quantities of wood and charcoal. This in turn protects the climate, biodiversity and health and contributes positively to poverty reduction. ADES employs 180 people in Madascar, mainly in production, sales and training. The stoves are sold in 10 local centers throughout the country. In addition, people in remote areas are reached with three ADES mobiles.
