A. Blair Enterprises is a specialized ground transportation company that began in 1984 as an air freight forwarding company. Due to the limited space available on commercial aircraft, larger volumes of freight had to be moved on the highways to meet our customer's delivery time demands. By the early 1990’s, our business was restructured to focus solely on ground expedited freight. By the turn of the century A. Blair Enterprises had gained national recognition and acquired contracts with all the major automobile manufacturing companies. Our reputation for honesty and on time delivery is unrivaled in our industry, having won us numerous awards from several organizations. We utilize a fleet of 2017 or newer Sprinter type vans, each equipped with real time GPS tracking, which gives us the ability to pinpoint the exact location of our customers freight at any given time. Our automated email updates of shipment progress, and our past performances give our customers the confidence to route their expedited shipments with A. Blair Enterprises, and move on to other tasks that need to be addressed, knowing that their freight is being taken care of by true professionals. After 35 years of award-winning nationwide expedite service, we have decided to bring our expertise back home to service the needs of Louisville’s local/regional businesses with the addition of our Local Delivery Division. We specialize in local skid movements, but are able to handle on-board/hand carry movements and even your smallest envelope shipments. Our Local Courier Division takes great pride in delivering quality service to Louisville and the surrounding areas. We are much more than a standard courier service, offering 26’ straight trucks and extended cargo vans- company owned and employee driven!
