1 Million Women To Tech

1 Million Women To Tech is a 501(c)3 non-profit community organization in the Silicon Valley dedicated to empowering women, companies and societies and fueling the rise of the digital economy, by providing technical education to women.We are partnering with Oxford Entrepreneurs (OE) to organize the women's SUMMER OF CODE 2018 a 3-month global program focused on bringing more females into software development. OE is Europe’s largest student startup society drawing members from all parts of Oxford University including undergraduates, postgraduates, and business school students. Since 2002, OE organizes Oxford Hack, the UK’s largest student hackathon and has engaged thousands of students.1 Million Women To Tech brings expertise in learn to code workshops, remote education and women’s outreach while Oxford Entrepreneurs brings expertise in organizing hackathons and provides venue and marketing support.
