I’m a Physicist pursuing a Ph.D. on Astrophysics at the University of Barcelona looking forward to work as a Data Scientist after submitting my Ph.D.thesis. I consider myself a hard-working and organized person. The Ph.D. provided me with skill sets that are closely aligned with a Data Scientist position, including: analytical thinking and problem solving abilities, written and oral communication, project management, and team working. My main technical skill is data analysis using Python, in addition my technical skill set also includes machine learning algorithms, Amazon EC2 cloud computing, R, PySpark, Git, LaTeX, and GNU/Linux among others.

Ph.D. fellow @ Observational and theoretical research in High Energy Astrophysics. • Published 3 articles (2 of them as a first author), and 2 conference proceedings. • Gave 4 talks at international conferences: 2 invited, at Heidelberg (Germany) and Palermo (Italy), and 2 contributed, at Valencia and la Plata (Argentina). • Responsible of the data taking team in the MAGIC Telescope (3 times 3 weeks). • Developed Python packages for data analysis. • Carried out parallelized numerical simulations. • Presented 3 posters at international conferences. • Gave 1 invited seminar at the University of Valencia. • Participated in accepted proposals of the use of international big instruments.
