Notable responsibilities include writing and maintaining integrations with lab data providers and payment gateways, rotating release/QA duty, and realizing new features as proposed by product management and business development teams. From November 2011 to January 2013 (1 year 3 months) Software Developer @ "Cloud Spend Management" was the official tagline, but in human terms this meant an S3-hosted Rails app to help companies manage indirect spend. Mostly just delivering boring enterprise features (requisitions, POs, invoicing, expense management) on a tight schedule. Migrated a 100k line Rails 2.3 app to Rails 3 over the course of six months, extracting strings (for internationalization) and doing a UI refresh in the process. From February 2010 to November 2011 (1 year 10 months) Programmer @ Wrote and maintained Perl code for a mostly student-run IT department servicing UC Berkeley dorm housing. Dabbled once with VB/ASP (not ASP.net) while integrating with a housing system called StarRez; never doing it again.
